Update and Send a Draft:My Transmittals

My Transmittals

The My Transmittals node of the Navigation pane holds all the transmittals owned or received by a user.

  • The results can be filtered by time period and type of transmittal, as shown above
  • The Results Pane shows if a transmittal has a discussion room with comments to review
    • the red speech bubble indicates that the comment has not been read by the user
    • clicking the speech bubble for a transmittal opens the comments for the user to review and add to if they wish
    • to display the speech bubble, add Discussion to your Column Preferences
  • Click the Transmittal ID hyperlink to open and review a transmittal

Update a Draft Transmittal

  1. Filter the My Transmittals results to view Draft Transmittals, as shown above
  2. Right-Click/Properties or press P for the draft transmittal to make the required updates, e.g. to add additional documents
  3. Complete the transmittal's details, as described in the previous section
  4. Click OK to complete the updates

Send a Draft Transmittal

  1. Right-Click on the transmittal
  2. Click Send Transmittal

You will be presented with a confirmation message when the transmittal is sent, as shown above

Copy a Transmittal

Any transmittal that belongs to you, whether sent to or in draft, can be copied. The copy process maintains both the attached document list and the recipients. It does not copy any comments associated with the original transmittal, but does maintain any comments made on the documents themselves.

To copy a transmittal:

  1. Browse in the My Transmittal node in the navigation pane
  2. Select from the filter drop down Draft Transmittals or Sent Transmittals
  3. Select the transmittal you wish to copy
  4. Right-Click/Copy Transmittal
  5. The following message will appear in the message bar at the bottom of the screen:

If you have copied the transmittal whilst in the Draft area, the new copy will appear directly above the selected transmittal.
